Tournament Formats
Knockout The standard format. You lose - you're history! Time to enter another one! Tennis tournaments run this way. Our regular ongoing tournaments are knockout.
Round-robin Each player plays a number of opponents. Like football or soccer leagues. Opponents may be chosen at random, or by standings in the event (Swiss). You're guaranteed several matches, you get to meet more players. The preliminary stages of T10-1K are round-robin.
All matches use the doubling cube. Standard international rules apply.
